Important dates

  • Abstract and poster submission deadlines : 20 July 2022
  • Presenter registration deadline : 30 September 2022

Author MUST register for the PIT symposium by the presenter registration deadline.

Abstract format

  1. Abstract must be submitted in electronic form as MS WORD, typed single spacing, font in 10 point of Times New Roman, justified at the left margin, do not intent and do not leave blank lines between paragraphs
  2. Abstract title should appear in bold, do not intent. Title should be consider and indicate the content of the abstract, prefer in a short sentence
  3. Name of the author(s) is written down the first followed by the last name, omit degrees. Underlying the name of the author presenting the paper. On separate line, type name of institutions and countries.
  4. The abstract text should include background and/ or objective, study design, material and methods, results, discussion and conclusion.
  5. Please keep to the limit 358 words, including title, author’s name affiliation and the abstract text.
  6. Use italics only when appropriate (e.g. for names of genus and species). Simple table and graphs may be included.
  7. The scientific committee will review the abstracts and confirm if your abstract is accepted. The organizing committee will send its confirmation letter to each of papers accepted.

In addition, the following structure of the abstract must be strictly adhered to in order to be admitted for reviewing:

  • Introduction / Background
  • Material and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Keywords ( max 5 keywords in alphabetic sequences)
  • Optional : References ( max 3)

Note :

  • Introduction/ Background: State the main question or objective and the major hypothesis tested, if any.
  • Material and Methods: Patients (or participants): state selection procedure, entry criteria and numbers of participants entering and finishing this study. Methods or interventions (or assessment of risk factors): Describe essential features of any interventions, including their method and duration of administration. For observational studies, clearly outline the independent variables. Submissions are accepted in English only
  • Results : report the main findings of the study
  • Conclusions: state only those conclusion of the study ( avoid overgeneralization).
  1. Clinical case

Cases presented are case study or case series reporting on an unusual condition resulting rehabilitation problem, new diagnostic method, new/ special intervention in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Please submit your clinical case according to the following structure:

  • Case diagnosis
  • Case description
  • Discussion
  • conclusions

Poster format

  1. Poster should be in portrait presentation and no longer than 48 inches (H) x 36 inches (W) (120 x 90 cm).
  2. Please prepare a label showing title, author’s name, email, and affiliation with the size of 700mm width x 150 mm height
  3. Title and author’s names must be placed at the top of the poster
  4. Highlight the author’s names, emails and address information in case the viewer is interested in contacting for more information
  5. Poster must be self-explanatory. Display of information in figures, tables, text and photographs are completely as author’s preferences
  6. Include research background followed by results and conclusions

Session formats

Poster may describe a technique, case study, cases series, clinical trial, systematic review, experiment or qualitative research
